Global Sorting

Hey,

BibWord is a true enrichment!

I created my own style but have one last issue. I added

<sortkey>{%Author:0}{%Year%}{%Title%}</sortkey>

for every type extension under bibliography. But the citations in my bibliography now sort for books, journalarticles etc. each and not globally. How do I manage to sort type extensions in one list?

So instead of

a (book)

e (book)

g (book)

b (article)

d (article)

f (article)

c (booksection)

I need

a (book)

b (article)

c (booksection)

d (article)

e (book)

f (article)

g (book)

How do I implent this? I tried to get some hints by taking a deeper look into other styles, but I didn't look through. Hope this is not too complex... Thank you very much for your support!

This is extremely odd. For bibliographies all sorting is done on a global level. You would have to actually add the SourceType element to the sortkey to obtain a sorting by type.

If you mail me your style and a sample document I will look into it. My email can be found at the top of the stylesheet.
