Putting text within citation

Aug 1, 2009 at 10:16 AM

Any ideas how it is possible to put text in the beginnig of a citation? For example, instead of (Smith 2000), I want it te be (cf. Smith 2000).

Or should I just disable the brackets globally altogether, and type them by myself whenever I really need them?

Just like you have a "\l" flag, you have a "\f" for prefix and "\s" for suffix.

See the "Optional switches" section of http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/HA102157071033.aspx for a full explaination including some examples on how to use those.
