Vancouver style and the showing of pages in in-text reference

Hello,

This may be a stupid question, but I can't seem to figure it out. I'm using Word 2008 on MacOS, with Vancouver style.

When I try to add pages (e.g. from a book, to be more specific), like the following example:

"...Out of these injuries one can see that in men's handball, shoulder injuries has an incidensrate of 8,4% (1, p. 30)"

..:I can't seem to get the page reference in there, and when I click the "edit this citation" button to add pages to it, nothing happens. (Yes, I've tried to update the bibliography and citations)

So, it's currently like this: "...Out of these injuries one can see that in men's handball, shoulder injuries has an incidensrate of 8,4% (1)", although I refer to other pages in this specific book later in the text, so it would be nice to refer to specific pages.

Anyone know a solution to my problem?

The Vancouver style doesn't support page numbers in in-text citations. It is purely a numerical reference.

If you want page numbers, you will have to adapt the style. Where you have

      <source type="Book">
        <format>{%RefOrder%}</format>
      </source>

you would use something like

      <source type="Book">
        <format>{%RefOrder%{, %CitationPages:p. :pp. :%}}</format>
      </source>

You would have to do this for every type of source where you require it.
