!!! This is not a BibWord style !!!
The style available in this release is in adjustment of the Chicago style that comes with Word 2007. It is not a BibWord style, so making modifications to the style might be rather hard and the style will most likely not work in Word 2008 for Mac.
Differences with the original Chicago style from Word 2007:
1. Display separator between year and page information for in-text citations when the author is suppressed
In the original version, when extra page information was provided and the author was suppressed, year and page information were concatenated. In this version, they are now separated.
- Old version : (200050)
- New version : (2000, 50)
2. Fields now accept simple HTML formatting
In the original version, it was not possible to insert formatting information into a source field. In this version, simple HTML formatting can be added.
For example, assuming no extra formatting is added, the field containing:
- A title containing <b>bold</b>, <i>italics</i>, <u>underlines</u>, and a < and > mark
will be displayed as
- A title containing bold, italics, underlines, and a < and > mark
Installation instructions (Word 2007)
Copy the file into the Microsoft Word bibliography style directory. This directory can vary depending on where Word is installed:
On most 32-bits
machines with Microsoft Word 2007 this will be:
Once the style is copied to the directory, it will show up as Chicago v2
This version uses the code from http://lenzconsulting.com/xml-to-string/xml-to-string.xsl to process html formatting in fields.
