Multiple Author Problem in ASA

Sep 17, 2009 at 5:59 AM

Hey everyone,

I am experiencing a problem in ASA with multiple-author citations.  This is what I am getting:

Abramowitz, Alan I. . a. K. L. S. 1998. “Ideological Realignment in the U.S. Electorate.” The Journal of Politics 60(3):634-652.

When I should be getting:

Abramowitz, Alan I., and Kyle L. Saunders 1998. “Ideological Realignment in the U.S. Electorate.” The Journal of Politics 60(3):634-652.

How might I change this?

Best,

rob

I think I just figured it out...

My guess would be that you didn't enter the authors corretly in your source. Use the "Edit" button next to the author field to enter the authors one person at a time if you are not sure about the format of a string of authors.

Yes, that was exactly the issue.  Thanks
