Updated Release: ISO 690 Numerical Extension (jul 04, 2008)

This style is made by request. It is an extension of the ISO 690 numerical style using square brackets rather than rounded ones. It also aligns numbers and text in the bibliography.

Usage
Copy the style to your Word 2007 style directory, open Word 2007 and select 'ISO690 - Numerical Reference - Extension' from the reference tab.

Remarks
The numbers in the final bibliography are aligned to the left. If you want them aligned to the right, you will have to change the following line (4084) from

This release is a combination of all other Word bibliography style releases in this project. This release gets updated whenever one of the other releases gets updated. To get more information on the different styles and how to use them, check the styles page.

Style names ending on a * indicate that the BibWord Extender tool is needed to use their complete functionality.

Installation on Windows (Word 2007)

To use the bibliography styles, they have to be copied into the Microsoft Word bibliography style directory. This directory can vary depending on where Word is installed:

    <winword.exe directory>\Bibliography\Style

On most machines with Microsoft Word 2007 this will be:

    %program files%\Microsoft Office\Office12\Bibliography\Style

Once the styles are copied to the directory, they will show up every time Microsoft Word is opened.

Remark: the types.xml included with the stylesheets should be used in combination with BibType to create some extra fields for the different types.

Installation on Mac OS X (Word 2008)

To use the bibliography styles, right-click on Microsoft Word 2008 and select show package contents. Put the files in:

    Contents/Resources/Style/

On most Macs with Microsoft Word 2008 this will be:

Extending sources with YearSuffix and BibOrder

The BibWord Extender tool can be used to extend the capabilities of BibOrder. It allows the addition of year suffices to certain styles as well as alphabetical numbered ordering.

Check the BibWord Extender wiki page on how to use the tool on both Windows and Mac OS X. Note that Mac OS X users will have to download an extra library from the latest release. A link to the latest release can be found at the top of the BibWord Extender wiki page.

Description

Implementation of the Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas (ABNT) reference style as defined by NBR 6023:2002.

Three versions are available. The regular author-date version and two numerical versions where references are ordered based on their appearance in the text. The difference between the numerical versions is mostly on how the numbers are displayed both in the text and in the bibliography.
